WWC Healthcare’s Laboratory is a full service laboratory utilizing state of the art technology, and is staffed on site 24 hours a day. Laboratory testing is performed by Laboratory Technologists, Cytotechnologists and Histotechnologists who are all licensed by New York State. In most cases, laboratory test results are provided to clinicians the same day the specimen is obtained. The laboratory also has two Pathologists who are board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology and hematopathology. Our Pathologists are available 24 hours a day as consultants for medical and hospital staff regarding patients and to provide emergency pathology service.
